There may be times when you will want to process an order off-line, meaning without using your website eOrder form or eShopping Cart.  A customer may, for example, telephone an order in or snail-mail an order,  and you will need to manually place that order yourself.

Your eCommerce Toolkit includes two methods for you to process credit card orders offline.  One method uses your database.  This is the SafeCharge system which is explained below.  The other method does not use your database, but functions more like an electronic swiping machine. This is eTerminal. Please refer to your eTerminal manual for instructions on how to use that system.

eOrder Form Note: If you use the eOrder Form instead of the eShopping Cart the SafeCharge option does not apply. Instead, you may place off-line database orders from your website, using your eOrder Form and entering customer information yourself.

SafeCharge allows you to enter customer orders placed off-line using your database.  You will fill out the order form much the way it is done online, only you will manually enter the product numbers and customer information yourself.  Using this method for off-line orders will help keep your bookkeeping records more consistent.
